Business Conduct Policy
Updated 22 April 2025
Briefly
The Rlab Business Conduct Policy outlines the ethical standards guiding everyone at Rlab. It promotes integrity, inclusion, transparency, and accountability, with a focus on responsible tech, data protection, and climate action. Rooted in our core values, it ensures we build trust through how we work and what we create.
-
Rlab exists to turn digital complexity into fast, accessible, scalable tools — so people can focus on what matters. We build high-performance digital services that launch fast, adapt quickly, and solve real problems.
This Business Conduct Policy, inclusive of our Code of Ethics, outlines the standards of behavior and core principles that guide everyone involved with Rlab — employees, collaborators, suppliers, partners, and external stakeholders. It ensures that all activities reflect Rlab's identity, mission, and commitment to ethical, legal, and sustainable business practices.
Our goals:
Foster a culture rooted in innovation, trust, and responsibility.
Ensure all professional conduct aligns with our vision and legal obligations.
Protect and enhance Rlab’s reputation through consistent, values-driven behavior.
Build stakeholder trust by promoting ethical and transparent interactions.
-

Mission
To create digital products that just work — fast to launch, easy to use, and built to scale.
Core Values
Innovation: We challenge the status quo to build what doesn’t yet exist.
Velocity: We prioritize speed without compromising quality.
Precision: We value thoughtful engineering, sharp design, and reliable outcomes.
Experimentation: We learn by trying, testing, and iterating rapidly.
-
This Policy applies to all employees and collaborators, regardless of contract type, as well as third parties who work with or represent Rlab, including vendors, consultants, and strategic partners. All recipients are expected to understand and adhere to this Policy, and to report any violations or concerns in good faith.
-
Integrity, Inclusion & Respect
Rlab fosters a respectful, inclusive environment where discrimination, harassment, or intolerance have no place.
We value diverse perspectives and believe every voice contributes to building better products.
Talent & Merit
We recruit and work based on ability, not background. We assess people by their drive, creativity, and clarity of thinking — not by their resumé.
Collaboration & Curiosity
Open communication and collaborative problem-solving are essential to how we work. Feedback is encouraged, shared constructively, and taken seriously.
-
User-Centric Design
Rlab’s services are designed to solve real-world problems. We listen to user feedback, test rigorously, and design for usability, reliability, and speed.
Data Protection & Privacy
We follow applicable data protection laws, including GDPR. Client and user data is handled with the highest standards of confidentiality and security.
Transparency
We communicate clearly about our products, pricing (where applicable), limitations, and roadmaps. No hidden terms.
-
Shared Standards
We engage with third parties who share our values and comply with applicable laws and ethical standards.
Fairness in Dealings
Business decisions are based on merit, quality, and integrity — not personal interests or undue influence.
-
Climate Commitment
Rlab contributes 1% of its revenue to vetted carbon removal projects, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability and climate action.
Community Impact
We support digital inclusion, accessibility, and local innovation ecosystems. We favor responsible growth over extractive practices.
-
Any personal or financial interest that could impair professional judgment must be disclosed. When in doubt, transparency is the rule.
-
Rlab complies with all applicable EU and international laws, especially those relating to data privacy, cybersecurity, anti-corruption, and labor rights. All team members must avoid practices that may appear to compromise compliance or ethical standards.
-
We take all violations seriously — intentional or not. Examples of misconduct that are not tolerated at Rlab include, but are not limited to:
Sharing confidential user or business data without proper authorization
Misrepresenting features or capabilities of our digital tools
Accepting personal benefits from vendors or clients in exchange for influence
Failing to disclose a personal connection that creates a conflict of interest
Using Rlab systems or access to engage in discrimination or harassment If you’re unsure whether a behavior could qualify as misconduct, ask — early.
-
As a digital-first company, we recognize our responsibility in how we build and deploy technology. We commit to:
Designing digital products that prioritize fairness, accessibility, and human benefit
Avoiding biased or unethical uses of data, especially in automated or AI-driven features
Evaluating unintended consequences in our product lifecycle and seeking ways to mitigate harm
Complying with legal requirements and emerging best practices in responsible AI and digital governance Our goal is to build tools that empower people — not manipulate, exploit, or exclude
-
Concerns or violations should be reported through legal@rettorelab.com. Retaliation against anyone raising a concern in good faith will not be tolerated.
-
Final Note
We don’t just build digital tools — we build trust. That means doing things the right way, even when it’s the hard way.
This Policy will evolve as Rlab grows. What won’t change is our commitment to ethical conduct, human respect, and excellence in everything we do.
